Misunderstood?

Its funny how sometimes you can't quite say what you mean to say because the words come out wrong or maybe the person listening just always seems to interpret them differently. Which is it? Well, in this case with me it is definitely the listener, who is a family member of mine. It is very difficult to carry on a conversation with this person, and it always ends in confusion on my part. The biggest issue at hand is that she tends to see the negatives largely and in contrast, I am an optimist. However, I will keep working to make this relationship a success, especially now, because of the knowledge that I have gained from comm.1010 class.
