Talk to your teen

As I have learned from experience, it is important to be able to communicate with your kids. When they become teenagers, there is some tactics that are useful when talking to your teen. Learn to listen,they like to talk if someone is willing to listen. Try not to automatically say no to your teens requests, offer to discuss the matter. Also, it is important to praise your teen when you see them doing something right because all to often parents are too busy correcting bad behavior. Be a proactive parent!
