Who gets in?

In this movie trailer, the emotions directed at the audience are those of hopelessness and fear in the education system in America. The trailer is effective at communicating its message because of the real life commentary from students and academic professionals. It uses valid statistics to give people a visual of how horrible the American Education System has become. With the Rhetorical Question “Either our kids are getting dumber or the school system is failing us” it gives a person something to think about, and to question during the rest of the movie trailer. In the ghettos of DC and Harlem, New York, The Education system has become a game of luck for the students wishing to attend the more prestigious schools.
